- 1). Turn the Kodak 5100 on by pressing the "Power" button.
- 2). Lift the printer access door in the center of the unit to open the cover. This will give you access to the ink cartridges.
- 3). Allow the print head to adjust and set into place. When the print head is silent, you may continue; it is now in place and ready for maintenance. Grab the latch on the ink cartridge and lift it out of the holder. Repeat this process for any empty ink cartridge that needs replacing.
