- 1). Wash off the deck using a strong power stream from your garden hose.
- 2). Pour 1 gallon water and 2 cups oxygen bleach into a cleaning bucket. The bleach is safe, natural and works for any type of deck.
- 3). Pour cleaning solution onto about 3 square feet of the deck and scrub the solution in with either a stiff broom or nylon brush.
- 4). Continue until you clean the entire deck, and rinse off the deck with your hose one more time.
