Some accidents can be cause by negligence while others are just plain accidents which no can know will happen.
Though accidents can never be removed especially while doing tree services, there are some ways on how you can prevent them or minimize the chances of it occurring.
Here are some ways on how to prevent accidents from occurring.
Set Up a Perimeter You can start by setting up a perimeter in which the tree service provider can work on.
Once you have set up a perimeter make sure to also maintain it.
Setting a perimeter will prevent other people from going to the area where the some tree services are taking place.
It will also let other people know that it is dangerous to go beyond the perimeter.
A perimeter is also used to let the service provider work as freely as he wants without anything getting in the way.
Remove Unwanted Objects If you have some other stuff found on the area where the tree service provider is working on, make sure to remove them first if possible.
Removing extra things in the area makes it easier for the service provider to work.
They don't have to worry about damaging any other things and they also have an idea where their tools are.
Educate Members of the Family If a tree service provider would be coming to your house to do some work, make sure to inform members of the family about the visit.
Make sure also to tell not to approach the area where the work is being done.
You also need to ensure that the children in the family understands why you don't want them playing near the provider's work area.
Avoid informing the members a day or so before the service provider arrives.
Make sure you let them know few days before and keep reminding them until the day the worker arrives.
Allow the Service Provider to Work Freely Though it is advisable to supervise the work being done by the service provider, it is also advisable to give them enough time to work.
Having you visit every 15 minutes will make them loose concentration in the job they are doing which can lead to accidents like tools falling from the trees where they are or branches being wrongly cut.
Make sure to come check their progress once in a while maybe after the day's work is done before they go home.
