The 1951 Chevy Styleline Special and Deluxe coupes featured various body styles and paint finishes. Smooth, rounded lines and fender skirts were showcased in the body shell, and the Deluxe model featured stainless grille trim and moldings. The body of the 1951 Styleline was constructed from steel and bolted onto frame rails. The grille was updated from previous models, and featured a row of "teeth" as opposed to smooth bar design. Parking lamps, wider than previous models, were lowered onto the bottom grille of the vehicle. The body of the Styleline Special had a rounded backend. Stainless steel trim and script was present on the Deluxe model. The Deluxe also had rear gravel shields and painted fender skirts.
