Chevrolet Aveo Specifications
- The Aveo, Chevrolet's entry-level subcompact sedan, was introduced in 2004 and redesigned in 2007. It was designed by Italdesign studios in Turin, Italy. The 2011 model adds an air filtration system in the cabin and offers three trim levels from which to choose: the 1LT, 2LT and LS.
- All three 2011 trims utilize a 1.6-liter, inline four-cylinder engine with 108 horsepower, 105 pound-feet of torque, four valves per cylinder, a dual overhead cam, 3.11-inch bore and 3.20-inch stroke and a 10.8:1 compression ratio. A five-speed manual overdrive transmission is standard on the 2011 Aveo, and a four-speed automatic overdrive is an optional feature on the LT trims.
- The Aveo's fuel tank holds up to 12 gallons of gasoline. The four-speed automatic overdrive transmission gets 25 miles per gallon in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. The five-speed manual transmission version gets 27 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.
- The 2011 Chevrolet Aveo has four doors and is 169.70 inches long, 67.30 inches wide and 59.30 inches tall. It has a 97.60-inch wheelbase and weighs 2,579 pounds.
- The 2011 Aveo can accommodate five passengers. Front passengers have 39.30 inches of headroom, 41.30 inches of legroom, 53.60 inches of shoulder room and 51.60 inches of hip room.
