It appears that this decision may be drawn from the Democrats losing their seat in Massachusetts, which is hailed as probably having been one of the strongest states in support of the Party.
Like any other debate that goes before Senate the Congress health care reform issue is and will continue to become muddied with all the points of contention by both sides of the government as to what is best for the country in addition to speculating on where the people of America stand on the issue.
In the opinion of President Obama and the Democrats, his mandate is to extend what little medical coverage is available and affordable to those who presently are doing without and cannot afford it.
Reducing the soaring costs goes in hand with this proposal.
As for the Republicans stance they are of the belief that a proposal such as President Obama's would only serve to severely damage what medical coverage is available now for those who are able to access it.
They are of the further belief that the American people area not in favor of reform in favor of the Democrats.
Health care reform is now at the mercy of waiting for the specifics of the bill to be worked out.
The bottom line is that the Republican's objective is to put a stop to the more than $900 billion that it would take to medically insure the American people.
It would appear that everyone agrees that coverage must be affordable for everyone.
The argument comes in as to how is this achieved.
The concept would be for government controlled Insurance where the public could opt for various private subsidized medical coverage plans.
Health care reform is going to hinge on the dollars.
What is it all going to cost? The key to the solution seems to be in taking the two health care proposals and dissecting them in the hopes to meet the key factors to keeping the cost down.
Yet it must provide quality health care to all Americans.
At present, it would seem that Congress health care reform must include security for those who are currently insured.
Then along with this make it a reality to ensure those that cannot afford heath care are provided with it.
Finally reduced cost to those who have some means of paying for it is also feasible.
