Lame Excuses For The Wealthy Entitlements

As I know you are aware, our society is on the verge of giant social transformation at this time.
The precursors we see to this, regarding the inequitable distribution of wealth and tax burdens in our country, are seen on a daily basis in the streets and on capital hill.
This is an epic dynamic that will forever change the foundation of what becomes normal in our society, in the same way civil rights and woman's rights to vote were.
I would like to speak to this in a way that I have not yet heard precisely, as I am thinking them.
The republicans initiated the term "class warfare" to push back any attempt to lose the privilege of the rich to pay less tax than the middle class.
Yet what I find missing from this conversation is the reality of how the rich became rich.
The rich became rich by the middle class as a whole, purchasing goods and services.
These purchases by the middle class funneled money to the top of business pyramids which enriched the pocketbooks of the CEO's and investors.
There would be no one in this county enjoying wealth without the existence of the middle class in America.
In effect, the only job creators are the purchasing power of the middle class.
The middle class create the wealthy in this country, and are simultaneously burdened with the lions share of the load in paying for all government activates and in supporting the poor, by paying a higher percentage of tax.
Essentially the middle class creates wealth for the rich, and pays for the poor; while the rich and the servants of the rich accuse any question of this dynamic to be un-American.
Now brilliant wealthy people such as Warren Buffet notwithstanding, the wealthiest one percent want even less tax burden, even as we understand their "burden" is lower than it has ever been in history.
They defend this stance that they are the job creators and lower taxes will create more jobs.
Yet, with this argument they are ignoring the rules of economics 101.
Only demand creates jobs.
Only when the middle class has a disposable portion of income to spend will the goods and serves be purchased, to increase demand.
Only a healthy middle class spending money will create the levels of demand that require business to hire more people to meet that demand.
When a healthy demand is present, a business can then consider expansion to meet increasing levels of demand.
There are no smoke and mirrors here, only common sense.
Investment bankers and corporations can create nothing without there being a healthy middle class market.
To suggest tax breaks for the wealthy create jobs, would infer we are as unstudied as is their train of thought.
I've been very amused at Presidential candidate Romany suggesting that his role as a business start up investment banker created jobs.
If this line of irrational logic holds true, then we can thank bank of America, first credit union and the entire banking system for creating jobs; simply by their ability to loan funds.
Perhaps stringing that logic out, we can also thank the new destructive super pacs for their role in "job creation"? Someone has to run the commercials right? And what of the defense of Romney's tax rate; saying that in reality this investment capital gains rate is being double taxed? Hogwash! The money that he is receiving in interest and dividends is new money, acquired through investment and time.
It's time for even the hardest of conservatives to wake up to the reality, that their party has been hijacked by the ultra wealthy hiding behind tidbits of conservative values.
There is no way, any logical person who was not suffering from Stockholm's syndrome could ever sympathize with their captures and believe the ultra wealthy should pay less taxes they do.
Of course it's absolutely fine to be conservative, as that's simply one chosen way to believe in governance.
Yet the party of conservatives we have now, is no longer a party of true conservatism.
The republican party has been stealthily manufactured to serve only the 1 percent, and the 1/10 of one percent, while strategically convincing the soldiers of the republican party that they are fighting for self, rather than the enslavement of corporate manipulation and control.
You should also know, I give no pass to the democratic party either.
While the constituents are more independent in thinking, the democratic establishment is just as corrupt to the corporate advantage that is crushing the middle class.
Unlimited campaign contributions, life long congressional terms, and lobbying are the tools of the corporate strong arm that infect both parties completely.
Yet as somber as all that seems, I have really high hopes.
I do see American citizens wakening up to these mafia dynamics that have overtaken us.
In fact, its hard to get through any news show now without someone talking about this very same topic.
I see big changes coming for the better.
I see those who have been manipulated to fight the "man behind the curtain" waking up and seeing the real illusion that has been given to them.
I see the average conservative citizen slowly waking up to the realization that their own party is not the party they thought it is was.
I see the occupy crowd and the original tea party crowd who share mostly the same message; uniting in the common grounds.
I see signs that point toward a smarter citizen, a more informed citizen, and a citizen who will demand equality; for in the end, in this nation at least, equality will always win.
