So! You need to lose some weight.
You're a busy woman.
You've tried it all before.
You just want to know how to lose some weight without all the marketing hype and 'do gooders' telling you what to do.
You want a strategy that WORKS! A great percentage of the population today is overweight - many of them obese.
Both men and women.
I won't go into all the health reasons why we should not become overweight - you've heard them all before.
Right now, you just want to be able to fit into those clothes you bought last summer! It is a fact though, that you will be much healthier all round if you can just rid yourself of those extra kilos you've somehow put on, and ...
if you could just get a few centimetres off so those clothes fitted again.
Most women today live incredibly busy lives.
So many women, especially the Mums who have a family to look after, a house to keep clean, meals to prepare, a job to go to each day, never have time just for themselves.
They are continually doing things for others and quite often completely neglect themselves.
If this is you - and you know that you haven't been giving yourself any time and that you have been piling on the weight and haven't had time to do anything about it - STOP right now and COMMIT yourself to lose those extra pounds.
Decide that you mean it and you will do what it takes.
I am going to give you a few simple rules to follow that will help you to reach your weight goals.
I know you don't have time to read a great long manual on 'How to Lose Weight' but there are some simple strategies that you can follow that will bring results.
Focus on three simple, yet equally important steps: Make it manageable by incorporating just one small, but positive, lifestyle change into each of these steps.
Once you are comfortable with that one, add another and then another.
Step 1:Renew your commitment to a healthy lifestyle by eating nutritious, high-fibre, low glycaemic meals.
The first small positive step could be to add just one new vegetable, preferably raw, or a piece of fruit, to each meal.
Step 2:Refresh your lungs and body with exercise or any enjoyable activity that gets you moving and off the couch.
(Who's sitting on the couch?, you might say - when do I have time for that?) This frist step could be to just get up a little earlier than usual and go for a walk.
Step 3:Recharge your batteries by giving your body the time off it needs.
Get ample rest and take time for some meditation, yoga or massage - whatever it is that restores you! Maybe this could be just going to bed an hour earlier and listening to some calming music or reading a book.
You'll know where you should be making the changes, and ...
as you begin these lifestyle changes, pay attention to the results, and see yourself as attaining the results you desire.
Visualize and see yourself, the new you, as you want to be.
Show gratitude for the fact that you are feeling so healthy and becoming that new person.
After just a few short weeks, you will probably notice that you enjoy life more, have more energy and vitality, and feel less stressed.
Good luck and read more of what I have to say to take you to the next step.
