Lifting weights is a great way to get in shape.
A lot of people want to try it out but they feel lost because they are not sure what exercises work what muscles and so on.
Well there are some real simple exercises you can do that will work you out pretty good and you don't need a trainer or and fancy equipment.
Squats are a good way to get your lower body in shape.
Get a long bar with weight on either end and put it on your shoulders behind your head.
Once you are balanced well you simply squat down towards the ground keep your upper body straight up and down.
Do this several times and you will feel your thighs, buns and hamstrings starting to burn.
Doing leg lifts at the gym is another great way to keep your legs working hard.
You will be sitting in a chair with a plate in front of you.
This plate will be connected to weights that are usually behind you.
Now your legs can lift much more than your arms can so be sure to adjust the weight settings properly.
Depending on what exactly you want out of your workout will determine how much weight you will be losing.
If you are looking to gain muscle mass then you will be putting much more weight on and straining your muscles so they can build up larger.
If you are just looking to tone your muscles then you will have much less weight.
Weight lifting is a perfect way to tone or even build muscle.
Figure out what works best for you and get to it.
Set up a schedule and stick to you because the only way to see real results is to stick with it.
