Know Why Exercise Will Help You Lose Fat

It seems to be general knowledge that when you exercise, you will be able to lose fat; however, there are still individuals who wonder about the effectiveness of exercise in helping people lose body fat.

Actually, there are three basic reasons. The first reason why people tend to lose body fat through exercise is because it disrupts homeostasis, which is the body's tendency to remain in a condition that it has been used to. So if you have always been fat, then your body is inclined to stay fat, and if you have been skinny, then your body is most likely to stay skinny.

This fact may be disconcerting but with the proper training, your body would have the ability to disrupt this homeostasis. Your training must have a start-stop nature. You can do weight training as this has been proven to be the best way to disrupt homeostasis. Constant exercises like walking, cardio, zumba and many other don't do much in disrupting homeostasis.

The second reason that you lose fat when you are training correctly is that you will be able to increase your growth hormone. When you are able to increase growth hormone production, you shall lose fat quicker. This would also help your body stay young. In fact, this is the reason why synthetic growth hormones have become very popular today.

In the studies conducted by Eastern Bloc scientists in the 1970s, they found out that resistance training is the best way that you can increase the production of lactic acid. When there is much lactic acid in the body, more growth hormone is also produced.

The third reason why the right exercise training can help you lose fat is that it makes you more sensitive to insulin. This insulin sensitivity can help you become leaner.

Studies have shown that doing resistance training exercises trumps every other form of exercise like yoga, zumba, cardio, etc. Weight or resistance training is the only thing that could maximize your insulin sensitivity.

So remember that by doing the right exercises such as resistance training, you will be able to lose fat faster. You will also be able to maintain a lean shape for longer.
