Hi. I'm Chase Thompson-Baugh with Simply Mac in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm going to show you a quick tip about how you can restrict some playlists on your Apple TV or how you can turn them off altogether. So for instance, here of the Apple TV if I come over here to music, this is music that is actually coming from the iTunes store. You can go ahead and you can download that, right. But what about music's that's on my home computer. If I come over here to computers you see that it kind of looks the same because I have the same music on my computer as I purchased from the iTunes store. So I'm going to come here to music and here you can see I have playlists. And you've got my top 25 most played playlist that I've accessed on my home computer. Now this is really great, I've set it up but what it there's a couple of playlists that I don't want shown. You know, for one reason or another, I'm not really sure why you wouldn't want all your playlist shown. But if that's a question that you have, what we can do is we can come over here to our computer and you see I have my top 25 most played. It's the exact same thing that I see over here on the Apple TV. Now if I don't want that shown all I have to do is just delete it. Now since that was a Smart playlist that was pretty easy just to get rid of and you see that it's gone. Now, I can go ahead and I can recreate that again, it's very easy. I just go to the file menu and I can recreate my top 25 most played or I can recreate a Genius playlist. You know, something of that sort. If you're not into deleting your playlist to get them off the Apple TV what you'll actually have to do is you'll have to disconnect your Apple TV from your computer. Now the way that we do that because in most cases the Apple TV's wireless, right. So how is it even connected. It's connected through something called home sharing. So if I go back to my menu, and again I'm just hitting the menu button to do that, I go backwards and I come here to my settings we have this area called computers. And all I have to do is turn off home sharing. Turning off the home sharing is not recommended, because you won't be able to see any of the content on your computers anymore. But if you're trying to be a little more selective, maybe you have some kind of content on your computer that you don't want younger viewers to see or to hear if you have explicit music, then you can go ahead and you can turn off the home sharing feature. You can easily turn it back on just by coming back to the general, again computers and it will say turn on home sharing instead. And that's how you can sort of selectively get rid of playlists or get rid of all playlists altogether on the Apple TV.
