Are you a smoker or dipper and trying to quit?Have you tried various methods such as the patches, pills or hypnosis yet you still continue to smoke? It's ok.
Most people try to quit many times before they finally accomplish the task and remain smoke free for the rest of their lives.
I smoked for 20 years before I was able to finally give it up.
My girlfriends mother developed lung cancer and watching her suffer for 2 years before passing away was enough for me to try and quit smoking.
At 35, I was really feeling the effects of it too.
I was always congested and winded.
My allergies were horrible and cuts and wounds seemed to take forever to heal.
I knew that nicotine was destroying my body and it was time to fight back!Like others, I tried various methods of quitting smoking such as hypnosis and pills.
The hypnosis just made me laugh because the hypnotist was out of his mind! The pills scared me because there were so many side effects and I didn't want to be all freaked out while trying to quit.
I probably tried to quit about 10 times before I found laser therapy.
I found out about laser therapy by driving by a retail storefront that displayed a "quit smoking" laser therapy sign in the front window and I called immediately.
The therapy is not as scary as it seems.
They use a low level laser that you don't feel at all.
It is aimed at acupuncture points on your ears, face, hands and wrists.
The therapy takes about 20 minutes and you feel completely relaxed when you leave the office.
In addition to the therapy, the therapist will also discuss the mental aspects of quitting smoking and various triggers that you should avoid.
They also discuss diet and let you know that you need to drink plenty of water for the next couple of months to help your system detox.
You really don't feel any different when you leave the clinic, but a few hours later you will realize that you don't have a craving for a cigarette or dipping tobacco! It's amazing! My friend and I both quit on the same day and we had both smoked for 20 years prior to that.
My father later quit using the same therapy and he smoked for 44 years.
