1Reboot your computer.

Press the key indicated during the startup messages displayed onscreen to enter BIOS. This is typically the "Esc" or "Del" key; it can vary, so read your startup messages carefully.

Navigate to the "Advanced" setting in your BIOS by using the left and right arrow keys. Consult your computer's operating guide for the proper location of the "Keyboard Power On" option.

Change the "Keyboard Power On" option by highlighting it, pressing "Enter," selecting "Enable" from the list that appears, and pressing "Enter" again.

Exit BIOS with the "Esc" key, saving your changes with the "Y" key as you exit. Your computer should now be able to power on using the keyboard.
