How to Make a Pine Cone Christmas Wreath
- 1). Insert the glue sticks into the hot glue gun and plug the glue gun in to an electrical outlet so that it heats up. Make sure you use the glue gun on a protected surface in case any glue drips from your project.
- 2). Space the larger pine cones evenly on one side of the grapevine wreath. Secure these pine cones to the grapevine wreath with wire.
- 3). Fill in the remaining surface of the grapevine wreath by putting smaller pine cones in the open spaces on the wreath and securing them by gluing them to the wreath with the hot glue gun. Then secure the larger pine cones to the wreath with hot glue as well.
- 4). Allow the hot glue to fully dry so that the pine cones are securely attached to the wreath. Add Christmas decorations, such as tinsel and dried or plastic berries, to make the pine cone wreath festive for the Christmas season. You can also weave Christmas ribbon through the pine cones in the wreath, or add a Christmas bow to the bottom of the wreath. Secure the Christmas decorations to the wreath with hot glue.
- 5). Use wire to make a hook on the back of the wreath. Twist the wire onto the back of the wreath so that the hook is secured into the wreath. Use the wire to hang the wreath from a door hanger.
