• A domestic flight serves to move people around the country. In the United States, there are thousands of domestic flights every day. Some people take a domestic flight to meet an international connection---for example flying from a small regional airport to a large international one. • A flight is considered to be domestic as long as it does not cross international boundaries. So a flight within Germany is a domestic flight. A flight within France is also a domestic flight. • Many domestic flights connect to other domestic flights, so passengers can get to a destination that is not serviced directly from the originating city.
