  Sun City is a popular retirement resort community in Arizona, a short drive from the city of Phoenix. • Visiters can rent a cottage located in Ventana Lakes, a community spread out across 480 manicured acres. There are 30 acres of lakes, from which visitors can view Arizona sunsets. Like most adult communities, Ventana Lakes offers many facilities and activities, from tennis courts, swimming pools, spas and saunas to arts and crafts in club houses. Keen golfers can improve their swing at the more than 20 golf courses that surround Ventana Lakes. The Coyote Lakes golf club, with an 18-hole year-round course and GPS navigation system on every golf cart, is just two miles away.
  
  

Sun City Country Club Cottages

• Stay in a cottage adjoining the Sun City Country Club and have the conveniences of a golf club and shops nearby. Vacation homes are available to rent through the community's website. The first ever country club built by Del Webb, Sun City Country Club set the precedent that other country clubs followed. The club and driving range is open to the general public and to private members. It has an 18-hole, challenging, tree-lined course. For those wishing to brush up on their golf skills, the club runs a golf academy and packages of lessons and there is an on-site restaurant.
  
  

Luxury Cottages

• The Union Hills area offers some more luxurious villa-style cottages for rent. The agency Villas at Union Hills has 10 apartment style homes that renters can choose from. Visitors can use the on-site pool and fitness centers. Golfers can enjoy the nearby Union Hills Country Club, a 18-hole, traditional course, with four lakes and two creeks to maneuver around.The club's signature hole is at number 14, a 360-yard distance that requires golfers to lift the ball over water. Cart and golf bags can be rented from the club house and the club hosts seasonal golf tournaments and fun leagues.
