Clubs located in hotels can be so popular and have such drawing power that they become one of the key hotspots in a city, putting the hotel on the map and making it a destination even for locals. Hotels with clubs tend to be upscale and located in large cities and destinations popular with tourists. - Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is located in Walt Disney World and is one of Disney's moderate-level hotels. Rix Lounge is a self-styled "ultra lounge" club located within the property, open evenings from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., as of October 2010. Rix has a live DJ Thursday nights and offers a variety of bar drinks and cocktails. The club hosts events such as New Year's Eve parties, and other balls and parties. This hotel has a pre-Columbian, southwest North America theme and is home to a large conference and meeting center. The resort has a pool with a water park area and 123-foot long water slide, the on-site Pepper Market for dining, and guests here can use the Disney bus system to get around "the World." Guests staying at all Disney hotels also can take advantage of either early admission or after-hours stays at a different selected park every day.

Whiskey Blue is open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., as of October 2010, and has a modern, artistic décor, with Polynesian influences. The club has a space called the "Gray Room," which can be reserved for private events and includes poster beds for guest relaxation. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool with chaise lounges and private cabanas, and a spa with 7,000 square feet of space for massage and skin care. The Whatever/Whenever feature provides concierge services, including the complimentary use of an Acura, stocked with snacks and beverages, with a personal driver. Restaurants within half a mile of the hotel include Acapulco Mexican Restaurant Y Cantina, Tanino Restaurant, Tengu, Palomino Euro-Bistro and The Glendon Bar & Kitchen.
- Grammercy Park Hotel is in Manhattan's Flatiron District, just minutes from Madison Square Park. The hotel has a club called the Private Roof Club and Garden, with interior design from artist Julian Schnabel and a retractable roof, situated 16 stories above New York. In addition, the club features original art from legends Andy Warhol and Damien Hirst. The hotel is a luxury property, with sumptuously decorated rooms, imported rugs and drapes, and mahogany window enclosures. Restaurants within four blocks of the hotel include Novita's Restaurant, L'Express, BLT Prime, Barbounia, Big Daddy's Burgers, Shakes & Tots and City Crab & Seafood Company. The hotel is 2 miles from the Museum of Modern Art, 2 miles from the Ed Sullivan Theater and 6 miles from La Guardia Airport.
