Most snoring happens when certain part of muscles within our nasal and mouth area fail to hold their natural place at night.
Be it your tongue, throat, jaws, failure to hold themselves within their designated spot will cause some kind of disturbance in your breathing pattern, and thus causing your to snore.
What should you know about preventing snoring? As discussed, stopping snoring starts from preventing them from happening in the first place.
Any strand of muscles within your body can be trained to be stronger and firmer, do not be fooled to believe otherwise.
So why should your mouth muscles be any more different? Although normally, people do not exclusively train them for anything, but for a snorer who has been suffering for the longest period of their life, it can prove invaluable.
Let's zoom in and have a look at what each and every part of your muscles have been doing while your are sleeping that can cause you to snore, shall we? Your jaws - When they start moving due to the gravity pull at night, you'll find that it decreases your air space and your breathing tends to be sharper and more forceful, when that happen it's no surprise that it vibrates the soft palate, and subsequently creating the snoring sound.
Your throat - If you think that your throat is just a hole, think again! Throats can involuntarily collapse at night, either through weak muscles or depressive drugs.
When that happen, you can bet that the amount of oxygen you get solely from your nose is not sufficient.
Therefore your brain compensate it by using your mouth to breathe, thus mouth snorer.
Your tongue - We all know that our tongue muscles can be trained, but do you know that sometimes it can block your breathing pathway too? When that happen, it can have similar effect as the throat closing in on you.
How do you stop snoring by training each and every part of your mouth muscles? The answer lies in strengthening them, to the point where it can withstand the gravitational pull and stay in their intended position.
By keeping them intact, you definitely stand a better chance of stopping snoring, and because no one single factor should be singled out as the culprit, training them as the whole lot is the solution.
