How to Upgrade Video Cards for AGP 2X/4X

    • 1). Purchase an AGP 2x/4x size video card, which is available from most computer retailers.

    • 2). Open the computer case by unscrewing one side of the case from the back of the case. Set the computer on its side. Remove the current video card by unscrewing the card from the computer and then lifting the card straight out.

    • 3). Insert the new card into the video slot. Screw the card in place and close the case and restart the computer. When the computer finds the video card, choose the drivers by clicking "Browse" under the drivers options. Insert the drivers CD and locate the video card drivers.
