How to Change an XP Laptop From WEP to WPA

1). Click the "Start" button and click the "Control Panel" menu item.
2). Double-click the "Network Connections" icon.
3). Right-click the icon for your wireless connection and click "Properties" from the pop-up menu.
4). Select the wireless network you want to configure from the "Preferred networks" list and click the "Properties" button.
5). Select "WPA-PSK" from the "Network Authentication" drop-down list.
6). Select "TKIP" fromm the "Data encryption" drop-down list.
7). Type the pre-shared key for the network in the "Network key" and "Confirm network key" fields.
8). Click the "OK" button to close the wireless network properties.
9). Click the "OK" button to close the wireless connection properties.
