Marijuana Withdrawal Symptoms - The Horrors You Are Likely To Face When You First Stop Smoking Weed

If you're trying to stop smoking weed, firstly, you should know that you're not alone.
Thousands of weed smokers have gone through the marijuana withdrawal symptoms and come out on top.
No matter what anyone tells you there are certain physical and psychological symptoms that you should be aware of.
As long as you know exactly what to expect you will have a far better chance of success.
The vast majority of people who experience marijuana withdrawal symptoms will get them within the first two weeks of quitting.
From personal experience I would have to say this was at its worst in the first 10 days.
This is basically because it will take a while for your mind and body to be free of THC, the major chemical compound of cannabis.
I would hazard a guess that the most common symptom of marijuana withdrawal is a feeling of anxiety.
This isn't actually that severe, although it is a feeling that can be hard to shake.
I truly believe that the main reason for this anxiety is fear of the unknown.
You don't know how you will cope sober, and you don't know if you will be able to finally quit.
Your mind automatically goes into defense mode, as this is literally a new feeling and you don't know how long it will last.
Luckily, the anxiety will eventually fade with time.
Possibly the weirdest marijuana withdrawal symptom is insomnia, changed sleeping patterns and dreaming.
I have noticed that whenever I first quit smoking marijuana my insomnia is pretty severe.
I often found that it took hours and hours for me to fall asleep, and then I would simply wake up within a few hours anyway.
Unfortunately, I had to make do with as little as 3-4 hours sleep a night when I first gave up pot.
You will also find that as a heavy weed smoker you tend not to dream as much or simply that you can't remember them.
So, I would suggest that you get used to having some extremely weird, wonderful and sometimes bad dreams over the coming weeks.
Your dream cycle will typically stabilize within 3-4 weeks, and bad dreams should soon be a thing of the past by then.
I noticed that my appetite was severely affected by cutting out the weed.
In fact, I lost my desire to eat and this soon led me to lose weight.
I have actually met other pot smokers who always needed to have a smoke before they ate anything, and so once they quit they didn't feel the need to eat as much.
I would say that stopping smoking weed will make you stressed, and this may lead to you losing your appetite and therefore losing weight.
So, be prepared.
These are the basic marijuana withdrawal symptoms you will face when you stop smoking weed, and as I say it is better that you know about these beforehand.
At least that way you are better equipped to deal with these problems.
