How to Exercise to Get Flat Abs

Most people who teach others how to get flat abs will emphasize the importance of eating right and exercising regularly.
While these parts are of vital importance to your success, it is not the be all end all of arguments.
The thing is that you need to work the abdominal area in order to get flat abs.
Most people seem to take for granted that others will automatically implement them in their training schedule, but most don't do that or don't know which exercises are the best to get a six pack.
I will give my take on how to best exercise to get flat abs.
The Decline Sit Up Put yourself in a position where you are laying your legs higher than your head, and make sure you lock the feet in that position.
Now place your hands behind your head and raise your head to the so high up that your right elbow touches the left knee, lower down to stretch the muscles and move up again, but this time the left elbow touches the right knee.
This exercise is great for stimulating the abs and will really get the lower ones in action as well.
The Hanging Knee Raise This one is done by hanging onto something and just lifting your knees up as high as you can, simple as that.
Make sure to push your pelvis forward as your knees reaches your chest.
This will make sure your lower abs gets that extra work needed for them to show better.
When you get better at this exercise and start to do an awful lot of these, then you can consider adding some weight to it.
Tie something heavy to your feet to give your abs some extra weight to pull.
This exercise really makes the abs in the lower area show.
Swiss Ball Twisting Crunches If you can come over a swiss ball, this exercise is recommended to add as well.
It does'nt constrain your back muscles as much as with the other exercises, but it still works great as an ab exercise.
Use this, and combine it with the technique for the decline sit up where you alternate by touching the left elbow onto your right knee, and so on.
Now you have the basic exercise regiment laid out for you.
Do some warm up and stretches, then do 2 sets of each of these exercises, with 20 repetitions.
Include this in your other training program and it will bring you decent results.
Just don't forget the other important factors on how to get flat abs, eating healthy food and go exercise.
These are just as important as the work you do on your abs, and must not be forgotten.
