How to Make Hard Staining Ink

1). Pour ½ cup of rubbing alcohol into a soda bottle and set it aside. Leave the cap off the bottle so you can easily access the alcohol.
2). Spread out a piece of tin foil on a table in front of you to protect the table from staining. Set all of the pens and the soda bottle on top of the foil.
3). Take the caps off the pens and cut the metal writing tips off using very sharp scissors. Cut each of the pens in half through the barrels and discard the tops and barrel ends.
4). Tap each cut end of the pens to help move the ink along and drop the barrels into the bottle. Close the cap on the bottle and leave the barrels to soak overnight.
5). Agitate the bottle thoroughly after letting it sit and pour the ink into an easy to handle bottle, leaving the barrels inside the soda bottle. Add one cap of brake fluid into the bottle with the ink and shake it to combine.
