  Your bedroom should be your respite from your world. It should be soothing and relaxing. One way to decorate your bedroom is in a seashore and beach style of decor. This style is filled with white, shades of blue and you can also add touches of yellow and sage green. Add decorations and accessories to polish off the look.
  
  

Shells

• Display lovely seashells from the shore by placing them on antique, silver trays and serving dishes. Make certain that you have all types of shells, different colors and sizes. If you aren't able to get them right from the seashore, consider buying some shells from a home craft store. Place them on the silver trays throughout your bedroom.
  
  

Votives

• Another way to use sea shells in your bedroom is to pair them with small, votive candles. Use small sea shells for this project. Place them in a glass bowl and surround the outside with the small shells. In the middle of each bowl, place small, white votive candles.
  
  

Pictures

• Decorate the walls in your bedroom with photographs and paintings of the seashore and ocean. This will add to the beach decor. Place photographs in light-colored frames, such as white or pale yellow, and add them to your side tables and dresser. Hang larger photographs on the walls in similar, light-colored frames. Add other, larger paintings on the walls with an ocean display on it.
