When it comes to social media marketing, it's all about action.
That's right folks, Action! Action! Action! There's nothing sadder than having a bunch of people sign up because of your social media marketing campaign and losing possible leads because of inaction.
What sort of action am I talking about? Well, remember those forms people fill up when signing up for a newsletter or for free lessons? There's this field there that says "Phone Number" where they put in their phone numbers.
Get it yet? Spend a couple of minutes a day calling up those people that have signed up showing interest in your program or course.
It would be stupid to sit there and just look at the growing list of people who are interested but not yet fully convinced about your product and not do anything.
If you take too long to call them, they'll eventually forget about you and your product.
Another thing to consider when calling leads garnered from social media marketing is that you've garnered their interest through social media.
This means that these people are looking for interaction.
What's more personal than hearing someone on the telephone? If you really don't have time to pick up the phone and call up potential leads or if you have a list as long as your arm then there's a simple solution to that.
Hire a couple of temporary staff members for just one or two days to call up those leads for you.
You don't need permanent people for the job, just two or three people hitting the phones non-stop for a couple of days.
From experience, a few minutes on the phone is usually all that's needed for a lead to become a sale.
