How to Make a Mixcraft File
- 1). Double-click the Mixcraft desktop icon to launch the program. Click the "Add Sound" icon, then double-click a sound file to load it into Mixcraft. Repeat the process for any other sounds you want to add; arrange the sounds and add virtual instruments and effects as desired.
- 2). Open the "File" menu and select "Save As." Select "Mixcraft Project" or "Mixcraft Template" from the "Save as Type" drop-down menu.
- 3). Type a name for the Mixcraft file into the "File name" box. Click "Save" to save the Mixcraft file.
- 1). Launch Mixcraft. Click the "Load Project" icon, then double-click the project you want to make into an audio file.
- 2). Hover the mouse over "Mix Down To" and select the audio format to which you want to export the Mixcraft file. Mixcraft can export MP3, WAV, WMA and OGG files.
- 3). Enter a name for the file and click "Save." Mixcraft makes the project into an audio file.
