Why is Being an Entrepreneur So Hard?

Why does being an entrepreneur seem so hard? It should be the easiest thing in the world to do.
With no set scheduled work times and no one (except yourself) to be accountable to, it should be simple.
Still we squander the freedom we have to achieve our goals.
I worked many years in a factory as a maintenance man and all the hours were set.
They told you when to start, when break times were and how long, and when to stop.
Everything was predetermined and we would abide by it or loose our jobs.
We were told what to do, when and how to do it, with no complaints or suggestions accepted.
They decided the wages, benefits and IF you qualified for them.
The employer made every decision and the implementing of it.
Even when I was self-employed as an electrician, contracted to another company, I always started on a regular basis.
I had the options of when I did things but I knew the completion date of the project and worked accordingly.
The schedule was in my control but it was also my responsibility to meet the deadline.
The company owner expected me to be on the site and to consistently show progress toward finishing.
When plans and other peoples decisions changed I also had to adapt and incorporate them.
Being an entrepreneur and the rewards of it exceeds imagination.
With no one directing us we have the freedom to apply our abilities and talents in the pursuit of our dreams, yet we still fail to accomplish them.
Attempting to do what needs done doesn't stop the interruptions and we fail to overlook them, stopping our progress.
A plan needs to be in affect to counter these and support our purpose.
It takes a decided and determined mind to overcome obstacles and work for you.
Write a schedule and put it on paper, set times for doing certain tasks and stick to them.
Allow for a break every hour to clear your mind and rest your body.
This gives you a fresh start hourly with renewed energy.
Learning to control our actions and us is the key to fulfilling or desires.
Without that we cannot be in the position we dream of.
The benefits will outweigh the effort to achieve your goals.
