How to Build Muscle for Non-Bodybuilders
Not everybody has the genetic construction to build a massive body like Arnold Schwarzenegger or other top body builders, but that doesn't mean you can't build muscle and strength.
 The bad news is, if you want to build a massive body and you're on a small frame, you're probably never going to be satisfied.
 However, on a positive note, you are a lot less likely to ever balloon up to 400 lbs.
There are a few basics on how to build muscle: 1) You need to engage in some resistance training.
 This is going to tear your muscles apart and when they grow back, they'll be stronger and bigger than they were before.
 So you have to put them under a heavy strain and then let them rest.
 A lot of people forget the rest part, but it is the 2nd half of the equation.
Continually tearing your muscle up without letting it recuperate isn't going to give you massive muscles.
The next most important item is to make sure you're feeding your muscles all of the nutrients they need.
 For most people, you need to follow some healthy weight loss tips and incorporate a very balanced diet of fat, protein and carbohydrates.
The most important item for people building muscles, is the protein.
Whether you want to believe it or not, unless you're eating several chicken breasts a day, you're not getting enough protein to build muscle.
 Even if you were eating that much, the fat content would hurt your progress.
 So, make sure you're taking some sort of quality protein supplement.
The third item on this list is to begin eating a clean reduced carb and reduced fat diet.
 That doesn't mean fat and carbs are you enemy, you just have to balance them out.
