Gifts You Can Make for Men
- Give a gift of food he's sure to enjoy. Whip up a batch of chocolate chip cookies or some other treat. Deliver your food gift in a disposable tray or at least one you don't need to have back. Can't bake? Use a premade cookie dough. He won't know the difference. Or ask his mom what his favorite dish is, make it yourself and deliver it to him. If your delicious dish requires heating up then include directions on your card or a 3-by-5-inch index card. Lastly, a great food gift would be a food gift basket of yummy snacks and treats. Pile his favorites together in a basket and wrap them up with cellophane.
- Give your guy a CD you mixed yourself. You will need a blank writable CD and a computer. Create a play list he will enjoy in your computer's music player. If he's your sweetheart, record a romantic play list with him in mind. Present it to him when he's in a romantic mood. If you know his favorite musical groups, make him a collection he will love. Trying to introduce him to something new? Then create a CD with some groups you think he'll find interesting. After you've burned your disc, design a label for the disc with him in mind. You could put his picture on it or a picture of something meaningful to him.
- You don't have to be a professional masseuse to give your man a great massage. Give him a massage for his special day using an oil that you created just for him. Pick up a clear or colored glass bottle with a cork or screw-on stopper. Then with a small funnel add your base oil to the bottle. The base or carrier oil could be olive or sunflower oil. Then add a few drops of your favorite essential oils to the bottle. Some manly essential oils are sandalwood and cedar. You could also add a hint of vanilla scent to the mix for a relaxing aroma. Put the lid on it and give it a quick shake. You've got a massage oil perfect for giving to the man in your life.
