DirectAccess Training
- DirectAccess training often talks about Internet and Intranet access. Although Internet access is openly available, users often need to access their own private networks (often called Intranets), through the public Internet. DirectAccess allows people to do this.
- When a computer is connected to the Internet, it probably has something called an IP address. Both IPv4 and IPv6 are two ways of distributing these IP addresses to networks or collections of networks, for example. DirectAccess, using this system of distribution to maneuver, may allow users to access private networks remotely.
- Discussion about virtual networking should be a part of DirectAccess training. Virtual networks reconfigure network system capabilities in a new way. Rather than solely using basic hardware components to run a network, virtual networks use software instead. DirectAccess is a form of that software.
