Are you worried your long distance partner may break up with you? Do you worry that things won't work between you and your man? Do you need some help on how to keep your long distance relationship strong? You have to be real.
Distance in a relationship can be a big issue.
You need to take this advice on how to strengthen the bond in your long distance relationship.
1.
Be trusting
He doesn't have to account to you for everything he does each day.
This would be really annoying for him.
Put your trust in him and have the belief that he is being faithful.
Don't panic if he doesn't answer your messages straight away.
He might be busy at work.
Or he might be asleep if you are in a different time zone! 2.
Communication with him
Keep up the communication, but don't overwhelm him.
Send an email or post a letter.
Keep in touch with him as often as he desires.
Let him know that you care and are thinking of him.
Try having a Skype call every week to catch up on what's been happening in your and his week.
Tell him some funny stories.
Tell him that you really miss him.
3.
Keep yourself busy
Don't keep your phone constantly in your hand, waiting for him to call or text you.
Get out and about and enjoy your own life.
Work hard.
Hit the gym.
See your friends on the weekends.
You don't have to be a prisoner at home.
Enjoy yourself and your life - you'll then have lots of great stories to tell him about when you catch up.
4.
Give him a surprise
If you have the money, book a plane ticket to visit him.
Surprise him by turning up unannounced.
He'll be thrilled.
If you can't afford to make the trip, send him a care package.
Make him a card and write him a lovely note.
You could send him a box of his favourite chocolates or his favourite movie on DVD.
5.
Organise a holiday for you both
Book a holiday to a place neither of you have visited before.
Take the holiday together.
You'll then have a whole lot of fun memories that you'll be able to discuss and reminisce about when you catch up on the phone or Skype.
Begin planning another holiday with him, so that you both have something fun to look forward to.
