- 1). First,let the mud stain dry out completely.If you treat a wet mud stain,it will only make matters worse.So,let it dry and then begin treating the stain.

Now,use a vacuum cleaner to suck the stain.You could also shake the fabric a bit if the stain is not very big.
Take some vinegar and dip a cotton ball/rag into it and rub vigorously over the stain. - 3
Now,all you need to do is wash as usual in the washing machine.Dry as normally you would do.You could also add a cup of vinegar to the load if you have a whole load of muddy clothes after treating them as per the previous steps.
