- 1). Choose a WordPress blog theme that you like before you build a blog on DreamWeaver. Download and unzip your WordPress theme on your computer and upload it in a new directory folder in your web host server using an FTP software such as FileZilla.
- 2). Locate the style.css in your new theme directory folder and copy the code. Open a new HTML document file in Dreamweaver and make sure you are in the code view window. Paste the code you copied and select Design View window. It will be the the preview of your blog.
- 3). Modify colors, font, header, and background of style.css through Dreamweaver. Copy the source and paste into the style.css from the hosting server.
- 4). Log in your Wordpress dashboard and write, then publish your first post. You can click View Site on the upper left menu to view your blog.
