- 1). Visit the blogger's blog and look for an "About" or "Contact" page with contact information listed. These links may be at the very bottom of the page.
- 2). Enter the blogger's website address at BetterWHOIS.com to perform a WHOIS search, which shows the contact information of the person who owns the domain name. This only works if the blog is on its own domain, not if the blog is hosted on a service such as LiveJournal or Blogger.
- 3). Visit google.com, bing.com or search.yahoo.com and search for the following:
site:domain.com/blog contact
Replace "domain.com/blog" with the main URL of the blog. If this search does not reveal a contact page on the blog, try other variations in place of "contact" such as "email address" or "reach me." - 4). Search for the blogger's name or username on google.com, bing.com or search.yahoo.com to see if his contact information is listed on another personal website or directory.
- 5). If the blogger uses a handle that is not her real name, use Internet search tools to find other blogs the blogger maintains where she uses her real name as well, or blogs and forums where she might be leaving comments or making posts using the same handle. Other commenters or forum members might address her or otherwise refer to her by her real name on one of those platforms. The forum might also provide PM, or personal messaging, contact tools.
- 6). Comment on one of the blogger's recent entries. An insightful comment or question may result in a personal email response from the blogger, which would provide you with her email address. You could also leave a comment requesting for the blogger to e-mail you.
