As a super star athlete in my younger days, I can fully understand where Floyd Landis is coming from.
After his brilliant team and personal victory at the Tour de France, he showed us that American Cyclists were winning for a very good reason.
Their work ethic, strategy, attention to detail, training, and technology is superior in every way.
After the Tour de France had been completed and the best man won, Floyd Landis, the doping agencies put forth that he had taken a something that helped him win.
In this book it goes through all the details and shows that there was either severe malfeasance in the doping tests or there was a conspiracy to discredit this great athlete, one of the best examples of the human spirit I have witnessed.
As of the ending of this book in 2006, the war to vindicate our great athlete is not yet completed.
Still, what the anti-doping agencies have done to trash his integrity, life's work, and the sport is truly unforgivable.
All too often in our society it is the rule makers who are more corrupt whether it be the regulators of business, politics of the day, or in this case the anti-doping agencies that care more about discrediting an athlete and winning a case than in truth, justice, and integrity.
