When it comes to TV Shows that you really like and even loved to watch who was/were your favorite/favorites? Do you have a specific character that you absolutely loved beyond belief? What about TV Dads? Which of the many TV Dads got your vote for being the coolest? Which did you think could have done a much better job? Were there any that you absolutely could not stand? Think about this while you read on, would you? When you are start looking at the Dads that seemed to dominate many TV Shows, what immediately comes to mind? Some people tend to think that TV Dads like Charles Ingalls from "Little House on the Prairie" is the best.
Others think that "Mr.
C" Howard Cunningham from "Happy Days" is the tops when it domes to being what a Dad needs to be.
There are also so many fans out there that really like, in fact, downright love, Bill Cosby as Dr.
Cliff Huxtable in "The Cosby Show".
He seemed to have it all when it counted! For so many, these TV Show dads are absolutely the tops on all counts! What about the TV Shows where the Dads are not quite so much on the up-and-up? What about TV Dads like Tony Soprano of "the Sopranos" or Al Bundy from "Married with Children"? To some fans, these guys are the ideal Dads.
To yet others they are not the same as the Dads mentioned in the previous paragraph.
Yet they actually do fit what is really going on in society.
There are so many that had a pretty strong Love-Hate relationship with that well-known bigot Archie Bunker from "All in the Family".
There is so much to love about him, yet it was his bigoted attitude that Archie got nailed for.
