    • 1). Select two 15-inch sticks with the bark still attached and lay them parallel to each other.

    • 2). Tie a piece of string to both ends of the sticks. You should have a square shape with the sticks forming the sides and the string forming the top and bottom.

    • 3). Turn one of the sticks over. The strings should form an X shape.

    • 4). Slide two sticks under the string, perpendicular to the side sticks. Slide them down toward the end of the side sticks. You will now have a square made out of sticks.

    • 5). Continue sliding sticks under the string, alternating directions. Build the square up and in to create a stick pyramid. As you put more and more sticks underneath, the string will become increasingly tight, creating solidity in the structure.

    • 6). Create a roof on the top of the trap with five or six sticks running parallel across the top of the structure. The construction should be tight and not fall apart when lifted off the ground. You can now set and bait the trap.
