    • Louisiana welcomes tourists year round for its lush landscape, fishing, cultural history and of course, the food. Taking an RV throughout the state will bring you to the vibrant cities of New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Alexandria and Lake Charles, or a dozen state parks from Chemin-A-Haut to Grand Isle.     Cypress Black Bayou

    • Located in northwestern Louisiana, this family friendly campsite is open from March through September and offers a boat launch, covered piers for bass fishing, lake swimming, a nature center and a petting zoo and wildlife rehabilitation center on site. Sites include full hookup service with plenty of shade trees for comfort. The grounds provide showers, a dump station, chapel, barbecue grills and picnic tables for guest use. For a break from the lake, visitors can head to nearby Shreveport and Bossier City, about 30 minutes away. Activities include riverboat casinos, food and music festivals or strolling along the Louisiana Boardwalk for dining, outlet shopping and family entertainment--such as the Louisiana Space Center featuring an IMAX theater and a planetarium.

    New Orleans East Kampground

    • This facility provides shuttle service to the French Quarter in historic New Orleans when guests register for at least two nights. Amenities at the park include an office store, free wireless Internet, a swimming pool, pavilion, propane, free mini-golf and a mega chess and checkers court. Full and partial hookups are available and pull-through pads accommodate the big rigs. Aside from the proximity of New Orleans, guests can take a swamp tour of Honey Island from a tour bus that leaves directly from the campground.

    Quiet Oaks RV Park

    • Family owned and operated since 1978, this southwest Louisiana RV park is about 45 minutes from Lake Charles and a short drive from local casinos, fishing and golf. The campground welcomes camping clubs and rallies with pull-through sites, meeting and community rooms, a fish pond and landscaped grounds including a rose garden. Full hookups are available with 30- and 50-amp electricity and free wireless Internet is available. Sites are shaded, equipped with picnic tables and have plenty of room for slide outs.

    Pavilion RV Park

    • Located on the I-20 corridor two hours east Shreveport, the Pavilion has been rated by Good Sam, Woodalls and the Escapes travel clubs. The campground is nearby local restaurants, golfing, antique shopping and is within one mile of the Ike Hamilton Expo Center. All sites include 30- and 50-amp electrical service, free cable and wireless Internet. The park features a swimming pool, a general store that stocks RV and camping supplies, catch and release fishing in nearby Lake Katherine and laundry facilities. Family friendly activities near the park include an arcade and mini golf center, the Biedenhard Museum and Gardens and the Northeast Louisiana Children’s Museum.
