The statistics are alarming!! One of out of every three Americans is overweight.
This number has doubled in just over the past ten years.
Obesity is now at epidemic proportions, and continues spiraling out of control on a Global scale.
Being obese is a very serious issue as carrying all that extra weight can make you more susceptible to heart problems, diabetes, stroke, and various types of cancer.
It can also affect your self-esteem and personal body causing psychological problems.
"We the People" need, and deserve to be healthier.
We need to stop being so sedentary and do something to take off the excess weight making America so unhealthy.
As an Italian American food is a great part of my life, and heritage! You'll NEVER see rice cakes and alfalfa sprouts at an Italian dinner table BUT, regardless of what's being served, it all comes down to how much we eat, and what we do between meals to absorb and burn off those thousands of calories! Losing weight is actually not that difficult.
All it takes is discipline, and re education.
Eat and exercise more.
The problem is that Americans have become resistant to that message primarily because we live in an age of instant gratification and people always look for the quick fix and, or easy, painless way to drop pounds without sacrifice.
The good news is there is a legitimate, effective way to lose weight while still eating the foods we love...
It comes down to portion control, food choice, and simple exercise Look at your weight loss as your own personal sporting event.
Just as you need to know the rules of the game as well as the basics of performing that game in sports, you also need the right tools, and information make your diet effective.
When you have all the tools you need, you can do anything! The most important tool you must possess is a proper frame of mind.
The right mindset enables you, and empowers you with motivation, commitment, and all the skills you'll ever need to overcome any challenges, and obstacles you might face! It's time to stop procrastinating, turn off the TV, throw away that pizza, get off your couch and start doing something to improve your health, your appearance, and live a longer, better life! You can do this!
