Here is a fun, toothy crab Faz made with 4 preschoolers. They used egg trays and egg boxes. She explains, "In Zimbabwe we only have cardboard boxes, no styrofoam."
They started out by painting the 6-pack egg carton red. When the glue was dry, they added wiggle eyes. They cut teeth out of white paper and glued them on. They made claws/feelers out of pipe cleaners (although the feelers look like straws to me ~ Sherri).
Finally, to prop the crabs mouth open a little bit, they cut an empty 'loo roll' (Love it! ~ Sherri) and placed it inside the egg carton.
