    • 1). Kill every dragonkin in the Sunken Temple. This is a very small dungeon, so finding them is not difficult. None of these fights is difficult or has any special strategy beyond standard group tactics. Any dragonkin still alive when you fight the Shade of Eranikus come to assist him, almost guaranteeing that your group will be wiped out.

    • 2). Defeat Jammal'an the Prophet and Ogom the Wretched in the easternmost boss room. Both are substantially weaker than most bosses in the same level range; they are barely more difficult than most the basic enemies in the area.

    • 3). Defeat Dreamscythe and Weaver in the central room. They do not appear until Jammal'an the Prophet is killed. No special tactics are required for them.

    • 4). Defeat the Avatar of Hakkar in the westernmost boss room. He occasionally uses Mind Control to force one of your party members to assist him, but this is of such short duration that it should pose no significant threat to your party.

    • 5). Defeat Hazzas and Morphaz in the southernmost room, just outside the lair of the Shade of Eranikus. This is another easy boss fight without any special tactics.

    • 6). Enter the room containing the Shade of Eranikus.

    • 7). Cast Grounding Totem if you have a Shaman in your party. This absorbs one hostile non-area-effect spell cast near it. The only ability the Shade of Eranikus has that triggers it is Deep Slumber. Recasting the Grounding Totem every time the Shade of Eranikus attempts to use that ability prevents him from ever successfully casting it, substantially decreasing the difficulty of the fight.

    • 8). Taunt the Shade of Eranikus with the tank to draw its attacks. The healer should focus on keeping the tank healed. Damage dealers should attack the Shade of Eranikus while it is distracted; outside dealing with Deep Slumber, all he does through most of the fight is use normal attacks on the tank.

    • 9). Taunt the Shade of Eranikus with a Paladin or Warrior damage dealer if Deep Slumber hits the main tank. This ensures that the Shade of Eranikus only attacks a character with decent armor until the main tank can get back into the fight.

Repeat Steps 7 to 9 until the Shade of Eranikus dies; he never changes his strategy over the course of the fight.
