Kick Ass Movie Review
Kick Ass is just that.
Following the recent onslaught of super hero movies over the years it was only time before someone made a movie about an everyday guy looking to take on the bad guys, and don't give me Spiderman or batman are every day guys because they simply aren't.
Aaron Johnson on the other hand plays an everyday non noticeable teen called Dave who wonders why anyone hasn't at least tried to become a superhero.
Sick and tired of no one helping Dave decides to create his alter ego "kick ass" and take on the lowlife of New York City.
From the get go it is obvious that what you're about to watch isn't your everyday superhero movie and you know you're in for something a little bit different when a 11 year old girl starts screaming out insanities and starts slitting throats.
Kick Ass takes everything you know about comic book movies and not only turns it on its head but slashes, shreds, punches and kicks its ass.
The movie starts out very casual and progresses to very intense until the very end when you're totally in shock from the violence and carnage on screen.
This is one amazing superhero movie and a really good movie in general.
If you haven't seen this movie then you really have missed out on a lot.
I highly recommend Kick Ass and can't wait to see what the sequel has in store for us.
Brad Pitt once again makes another excellent produced movie and I also look forward to seeing more of his productions in the future.
