10 Tips For Buying Louisville Cars
  1. BE PATIENT - Buying a car is a big decision.
    Don't try and hurry it.
    Don't jump on the first good deal that comes your way.

  3. GIVE THE BIG BOYS A SHOT! - Most people don't realize that just because they are not strictly a used car lot, that they will not have a good selection of used cars.
    That's wrong because most people trade in their car to buy a new one.
    So give your Louisville Chevrolet dealers, your Louisville Kia dealers, any big dealers in area a look, they normally have a vast selection of inventory.
  4. CLEAN TRADE - If your going to trade in a vehicle, make sure its clean when you take it to the dealership.

    When they see a clean car they assume you have taken car of it, and that for the most part the car is in good shape.

    When they see a car full of golf clubs, random stuff in the glove box, just anything that a normal person would have in their car, they know that the person isn't that serious in buying a car immediately and know it will take a better deal to make an impulsive decision.
    On the other hand, when they notice that the buyer brought their trade-in in with a glove box with only the title and insurance and manual in it, and an empty trunk, they know that they are ready to buy today, and it will take less for them to buy.
  6. DONT GET IT CONFUSED - You can keep some stuff in your car AND have a clean car!
  7. BE NICE TO YOUR SALESMEN - A lot of times when people are buying a car they assume that they will have to deal with a "dirty car salesmen.
    " Salesmen will be more likely to help you out if you are nice to him.
    Some salesmen are actually there to help you buy a car, and not sell you one.
  8. BEWARE OF SALESMEN - If you don't feel comfortable with your salesmen, RETREAT! While all salesmen are very kind and helpful, others will try and take advantage of you.
    Trust your instincts.

  9. ALWAYS ASK FOR A CARFAX AND A KELLY BLUE BOOK - Once you have selected a vehicle, ask for a CARFAX.
    if your happy with your car fax ask the salesmen to show you some figures.
    After he gives you his first offer, ask for a printout of the Kelly Blue Book on the car.
    The prices should be close, if they tried to over price the car too much you can tell what kind of dealership you are working with.
    If the Blue Book value is higher than the price they gave you, your in good shape.
  10. FIND A DEALER YOU CAN TRUST - Finding a trustworthy dealership is very crucial when buying a new or used car.
    One good way of finding a trustworthy dealership is checking for dealer reviews online.
    There are many websites that publish reviews from past customers who will tell what their buying experience was like.
