How to Make Fake Rocks for My Terrarium
- 1). Put on the rubber gloves and dusk mask.
- 2). Combine the 28 oz. of Portland cement, peat moss and vermiculite in the plastic bucket, mixing it together with the wooden spoon.
- 3). Add water, 1 cup at a time, to the dry ingredients. Stir with the wooden spoon, adding more water if needed, until the mixture is the consistency of pudding.
- 4). Grab a small amount of hypertufa mixture in your hand and roll it into a ball. Carefully shape the ball into the rock size and shape needed. Repeat for more artificial rocks.
- 5). Place the wet artificial rocks on newspapers and let them dry for 48 hours.
