Photo Frame

• Decorate a picture frame with pieces of ribbon or small bows or knots. If there were many flower arrangements at the funeral, use strips of ribbon to cover the back of the frame as well, or even the photo mat. Place a photograph of the deceased in the frame.

• Ask friends and family members of the deceased to submit photos, letters and written memories having to do with the deceased. Bind them in an album, scrapbook or folder and decorate the front and back covers with ribbon.
  
  You can also create a memory box containing mementos of the deceased, decorated with ribbons.
  
  

Wind Chimes

• Tie the ribbons to a hoop and weigh them with bells or chimes. A breeze blowing through your gift will create a gentle, musical reminder of the deceased.
  
  If the deceased has a baby grandchild, you can use the same method to craft a mobile for hanging over the crib. Use small stuffed animals instead of chimes.
  
  

Christmas Decorations

• Christmas is an appropriate time to reminisce about loved ones who have moved on and to feel their presence in celebrations. Create a chain of the ribbons to drape around the tree or tie one ribbon bow just above each hanging ornament. You can also weave ribbons and bows into a wreath, or use the ribbons as napkin holders at a Christmas dinner.
  
  

Personalized Crafts

• If humor and wit are your style (or were the style of the deceased), use the ribbon to decorate home or hobby items that deceased enjoyed. For a woman who loved sun-dried linens, glue ribbon knots or bows to clothespins. For someone who hogged the TV remote control, weave the ribbons into a shallow basket to hold the remote.
