There has always been much controversy surrounding Jesus and his mission and details about his own spiritual growth and attaining Christ consciousness on the Earth plane.
And what is less known is who taught Jesus and guided him to attain this level of Christ consciousness.
To answer this question we must understand what is "the Comforter" as Jesus referred to in the Bible and what is the "second Comforter" as Jesus also mentioned in the Bible and the role of the Ascended Masters, also known as the Ascended Host or Great White Brotherhood of Light.
The essence of the information I will impart to you now has been channeled by Ascended Masters of the Great White Brotherhood of Light, including the Ascended Masters Jesus, Mother Mary, and Maitreya.
Firstly, the Comforter is your own Higher Self.
Your Higher Self or I AM Presence, exists in the spiritual heavens.
Your Higher Self is an extension of the Creator God.
This simply means a part of the Creators consciousness exists within your Higher Self.
Your Higher Self has a body, mind, God consciousness and self-awareness.
In actuality, your Higher Self is you.
When the material universe was first created (and the material universe includes the spiritual realms when you pass over in between lives on Earth) you, meaning your Higher Self, decided it wanted to bring LIGHT into this new sphere of creation and agreed to send a part of its own consciousness into a new spiritual body.
This new spiritual body is also you, and the pure consciousness that you feel in between your eyes - at your third eye chakra point - is the center of this spiritual body.
This pure consciousness is a part of God's own consciousness.
What you experience, God the Creator and your Higher Self also experience.
Every soul that incarnates into a physical body on Earth has such a Higher Self that exists in the spiritual heavens.
It is our God Self, our Comforter, our Father.
Just like the Creator God is our Father in Heaven, so too is our Higher Self our Father in Heaven and it is also our teacher.
Our Higher Self teaches us through intuition, channeling thoughts into our mind and feelings into our heart of a higher vibration to help guide us along our spiritual path.
We experience these thoughts and feelings as our own.
In the Bible, when Jesus referred to his father in heaven, Jesus was sometimes referring to the Creator God (who is the Supreme Heavenly father); sometimes to his own Higher Self (who is also his father in heaven); sometimes to his second comforter (his Christ Self); and sometimes to his spiritual teacher - Maitreya.
The second Comforter is your Christ Self.
Your Christ Self is a part of another Ascended Master's pure consciousness that has been broken off for you.
It has been broken off and set aside for you to help you attain Christ consciousness during this lifetime - just as Jesus and others throughout Earth's history have attained this higher Christ state.
Christ consciousness is a state of "oneness" with all other parts of the entire Body of God.
When you are in a state of Christ consciousness, you see and experience no separation between you and any other part of God.
There are different stages of Christ consciousness, where a soul will feel increasingly more at one with all other souls - all other parts of God.
To help with this goal, each of us can call upon and ask for guidance from our Christ Self.
Jesus called upon his Christ Self - his second Comforter - to teach him the ways of "oneness" with all other souls and to help him attain full Christ consciousness on Earth.
He prayed for guidance and received higher Christ guidance through his thoughts and intuition - the Key of Knowledge.
When Jesus attained a high state of Christ consciousness over time, the consciousness of his Christ Self (his second Comforter) and Higher Self (his first Comforter) both descended into his physical body and he became the Living Christ.
Jesus found the Kingdom of God - the Christ consciousness - by going within his own mind and heart, accessing higher teachings from his Christ Self and Higher Self and then merging with these higher spiritual beings on Earth and becoming the Living Christ.
Throughout this process, Jesus was also able to tune in psychically to his own spiritual teacher - Maitreya - and received spiritual guidance and support.
Maitreya is the primary teacher of the Garden of Eden located in the etheric spiritual realms of the material universe.
Maitreya holds the spiritual office of the Earth Buddha.
