How to Become a Theme-Park Performer
- 1). Search for job openings on the theme park's website. While some parks operate year-round, seasonal parks may only advertise job openings in the early spring, in preparation for summer openings. Jobs my be listed under "Entertainment" or with other job listings.
- 2). Complete the application to work at the theme park. Indicate on the application that you are applying for work as a performer. List any experience you've had performing in productions at your school or with community theater groups; any training you've had in singing, dancing or acting; or special skills you have such as juggling or performing magic tricks.
- 3). Attend auditions for jobs with the park's entertainment staff. Show up on time and check in with the person running the audition. Come prepared, with the proper clothing, music if necessary and anything else the theme park has asked you to bring with you.
- 4). Smile during your audition. Be friendly and have fun. This is the image theme parks want to portray to visitors, so it's an important part of your audition performance.
