- 1). Slide the back cover off the Droid 2 and remove the current memory card from the phone's card slot.
- 2). Insert the new memory card, with its metal plating facing up, into the phone's card slot. The memory card clicks into place when it is properly inserted into the slot.
- 3). Slide the cover onto the Droid 2's exposed back to lock it into place.
- 4). Insert the USB cable into the Droid 2's micro USB port, then insert the flat end of the cable into a USB port on your computer
- 5). Drag down the status bar on your phone's screen and touch "USB Connected" on the screen. Touch "Mount" to connect the Droid 2 to the computer.
- 6). Click the Windows (Start) icon on your PC's desktop, then click "Computer." Double-click "Removable Device" to access the Droid 2's memory card.
- 7). Drag and drop your computer's music files to the Droid 2's window to copy them to the memory card.
- 8). Click "Safely Remove Hardware" on the desktop's taskbar in the lower right corner of the screen, then click "Removable Device" to eject the Droid 2 from your computer.
