    • 1). Slide the double wall stove pipe over the stove collar. The stove collar is where the smoke exits the stove. This opening is located behind the stove or on top of it.

    • 2). Screw sheet metal screws into the junction of the pipe and the collar. Use a drill to place four sheet metal screws around the circumference of the junction.

    • 3). Slide a second double wall stovepipe section over the chimney ceiling support, and attach the junction with four sheet metal screws around the circumference of the pipe.

    • 4). Add a center section of double wall stovepipe between the piece on the stove collar and the piece on the ceiling support. Secure each junction with four sheet metal screws. Cut any sections necessary to obtain the length of the centerpiece by using tin snips.

    • 5). Install 90-degree elbows to turn the flow of the smoke from the back of the stove or through a wall. Slide on elbows between the sections of double wall pipe, and attach them with sheet metal screws in the same manner as all junctions.
