- 1). Launch your cellphone's Internet browser by clicking or touching the "Internet" icon in your device's main menu.
- 2). Visit Windows Live's mobile site at http://mobile.live.com.
- 3). Sign in to Windows Live with your existing Windows Live ID and password. If you don't have a Windows Live ID, click on "Get a Windows Live ID" and follow the on-screen instructions to finish registering your new ID. You will need to supply Microsoft with your name, country and date of birth during the registration process.
- 4). Click on "Download Windows Live Messenger." The Windows Live website will automatically select the appropriate version of the software for your particular Sony Ericsson device. If your cellphone displays a confirmation message, click or tap on "Download" or "Install" to finish installing the application.
